Taiwan Sunshine is involved in a variety of projects throughout the year.
2000 for 2000
Christmas Project 2018
This Christmas, we are planning to give presents to 2000 children in Taiwan that have been touched by a disability. We will prepare Christmas boxes that will be filled with coloring pencils and books, Christmas DVDs, Christmas crafts, stuffed animals, yummy treats, and anything else that we think kids will like.
This year, we would like to present our gifts primarily to children living in the central mountain ranges and the east coast of Taiwan.

Taitung Community and Activity Center
We are currently planning to open a community and actvity center in Taitung. Our center will be a multi-function facility that will include our offices, space for parent and teacher seminars, as well as activities for our kids and families.
We will offer gymnastics, Taekwondo, art, and music classes for our kids in a safe environment.
Our goal is to develop a toy library that parents can use, specifically with toys that will help their children developmentally.

The Orange
We are so thankful for the VW van that was donated to us recently! It's a 1996 T4 van that has airconditioning! (Our last one did not...)
We need to do a few more repairs on it so that it will be able to:

transport all of our "Hero Games" equipment to our events and to all of our school outreaches
-
survive the east coast and mountain areas of Taiwan
-
seat 8 people and hold a good bit of luggage
Why is this project called "The Orange?"
We want to paint our van orange and put our logo all over it. This way, we can let people know about Taiwan Sunshine every time we hit the road!

So many times, we are so caught up in our own projects that we don't see what else needs to do done!
